Education

Here's a guide to some of the classes we teach at The Oak. Most of our classes are designed to accomodate a range of abilities from complete beginner up. They're generally aimed at adults (unless it says otherwise) but we can usually take teenagers if we have consent from parents.

Working in pairs or in groups participants will learn to stand on each others’ shoulders, balance on each others’ hands and feet and create fantastic shapes together. Everybody is encouraged to participate, whether you want to learn to fly or be the next circus strongman or strongwoman, acrobalance is a fantastic way to build up strength, confidence and your ability to trust in yourself and others. Acrobalance is also a great accompaniment to aerial and pole classes, opening up new possibilities for doubles routines.
